I have been working in IT now for 8 years, all with the
same company, as a hardware engineer / intsall engineer. This section
of the website will hold product reviews, technical information and
links for any technology i own/try.
All machines on my network are running various flavours of the superb
Linux os. I`m affraid i have a strong dislike of microsoft and Mr Gates
products. Linux and open source software give the user complete control
of the system, although i have to admit its not for everyone. Dispite
big steps forward in recent years Linux is still very much a geek only
os.
I have become more and more interested in photography recently. My
current camera is a Premier DC3A30 which is the same as a Toshiba PDR
M700.
One of the best pieces of kit i own is my xbox. Once chiped this little
baby does it all. Divx player, Mp3 player, picture viewer (all
accessing network drives for content) local weather, updates direct
from web, oh and it plays games!!
